wow - sexy computer, spiced and foaming over...or am I talking of that tall dark beauty beside it? - I'll leave that up to you to decide ;)

Travis, I love how it's surrounded by beer. That is so you.

Where's the Apple logo?!

Nice man...I must admit I did not even see the beer...I will need a close up I guess! Anywho...I must say I am partial to my HP with 17" screen and full size keyboard (that means you get the extra number thingy). Got to love the warranties as this one cost me $75 more than the refund for the old one....that will be the best deal I will ever get since I suck at saving $$$.

I had a closer look and the only thing that came to mind is cheap drunk...hehe

Nice! I don't see an Apple logo either, but it looks pretty cool. How's the Turion for battery life?

Ok, you will not see an Apple logo anywhere in my pic's unless I am either making fun of them or somebody photoshoped it in to make fun of me. I'm glad you got amusement out of the beer. I must say I did not think the laptop would be efficacious enough; I mean, it's not a Mac. :) And finally, the Turion is not as good for battery life as my old Toshiba Celeron. So I just clock it down like crazy when I am using it and I get about 3.5 hours (which is still less than the 4 my celeron got). This is alright for me though because if I wanted to utilize the full strength I would plug it in anyway. Battery is only for wordprocessing.

Ahh. Yeah, I don't usually do too much running with just my battery either. I do notice, however, that if I turn the screen brightness way down I get much better battery life.

Just out of curiosity, what is the clock speed of your processor? Apparently, some of the Turion X2 64 chips are actually better at using less power than the Intel Core Duo I have in my MacBook.

Darryl, the clock speed is 1.6Ghz. You have a core Duo right? What is your clock speed? What kind of battery life do you get? Oh yeah, I might be able to squeak 4 hours life if I squinted at my screen, haha! No, its not that bad. I know what you mean though, there are so many ways you can get more life.
